Bio:

Yo Basso

Avid long distance runner and marathoner, who got into running to keep the weight off and curb my unhealthy relationship with carbs. I’m half Japanese, half American and was born and raised in the very best city in the world, Tokyo. I’m bounced around since then – went to university in NYC, studied abroad in Florence and London, had a 5 year hiatus in Honolulu, and now reside in the SF Bay Area.

I’m surrounded my beautiful, wonderful, and strong women – Shoko, my wife, Andi, my daughter, and Uma, my rhodesian ridgeback girl. They are collectively everything to me.

I’m an advertising and marketing professional by trade and spend my days trying to convince you to buy something you don’t need (currently in marketing at Uber).
